Bus Transportation Registration
Starting on June 1, parents will be able to register their student to ride the bus through Parent Portal. NOTE: If you have a rising kindergarten student, you will receive your Parent Portal credentials around July 15.
Where to find the registration form? Parents will log into their Parent Portal accounts, click on the “Forms” link under Navigation. Choose the transportation form. Once you complete the form, the information will be sent to the appropriate departments at FMSD. If later, circumstances change and you need to change your transportation choices, you may log back in to your Parent Portal account and resubmit the transportation form again. Your latest submission will override any previous choices. Please see the image below for information on where to find important items in PowerSchool
Will the students bus information be available in PowerSchool? Yes! We are tentatively aiming to have bus information available by 8/4/22. Families will have a few options to obtain their students' bus assignments. They can log into Parent Portal account to view in the transportation link, in the Traversa Ride 360 App, or our general routes and stops will be posted on the dstrict website.
Families within transport zones who will need bus transportation must complete the Bus Transportation Form (Families who will be transporting their students to/from school and will not ride the bus do not need to complete this form).
Transportation changes and requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to seating availability.
Please note that the non-transport zones that were implemented last school year will be a permanent change to our transportation policy. A full listing of non-transport zones can be found by clicking here.
